Our Drama club has started but you can still come along!
Sessions for 7-11's and 11-14 year olds
The SPACe drama club is a fun filled opportunity to develop skills including devising, physical and immersive theatre.
The club meets in the theatre at SPACe after school on Mondays. At the end of term there will be a presentation of the skills learnt for parents and friends. The cost is £100 per term. (We are able to offer assisted places to some children, contact us for more information.)
Emma Hart our course leader graduated from Drama Studio London. She teaches LAMDA courses for schools and companies locally. Emma also works with students with Special Educational Needs within a school setting and privately.
As a professional actor, Emma has worked on a variety of projects including 'Romeo and Juliet' (number one theatre tour of Italy), 'Gone to the Dogs', and her one woman show which she wrote, produced and performed at the Camden Fringe Festival, receiving a five-star review.

The story so far
SPACe stands for Southdown Performing Arts Centre based in the former Southdown Methodist Chapel.
We have held a touring theatre production, a Christmas Nativity show, Jazz Evening, Songs from the Shows afternoon, and
Holiday Drama Club amongst other events.
