SPACe
The story so far
SPACe stands for Southdown Performing Arts Centre and is based in the former Southdown Methodist Chapel.
We have held a quiz, a touring theatre production,Songs from the Musicals afternoon, a Christmas Nativity show and a Ceilidh!

Please note that the event will now be held at St John's Church Hall, St John's Road, Harpenden.
An evening of Jazz with Chris Burrett and his jazz combo.
Tickets are £5.
There will be an alcohol-free bar.
Easter Drama Club
The SPACe Easter drama club is a fun filled week of physical theatre and theatre skills, devising, working with scripts, poetry
and art and craft for children aged 7 – 11.
At the end of the week there will be a performance of the pieces developed during the week for parents and friends.
The fee is £100.
Thanks to generous sponsorship we are able to offer assisted places to some children, contact us for more information.
It is led by Becky Coote who has been teaching performing arts for ten years and trained at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. She is a performer and playwright in her own right.
Becky offers top quality training but with a strong emphasis on fun and inclusion and specialises in working with students with SEN.
